Kitchens Says Proposed New Manure Management Rules a Good Start

State Representative Joel Kitchens says proposed new manure management rules for the 15 counties in the karst-geo region are a good beginning in the effort to protect groundwater. Kitchens says there are plans to hold a public hearing on the rules in September. In the meantime, he welcomes the rule-making and is eager to work together with all interested parties to move them forward.
