Initiative to Expand Door County Workforce Underway

A new initiative intended to foster the expansion of Door County’s workforce was unveiled at a business and education summit this week. The event, sponsored by the Door County Economic Development Corporation, was held at the Hatco Corporation in Sturgeon Bay’s industrial park. Bill Chaudoir, who heads up the local economic development effort, says the summit brought together experts on the state, regional and local levels to talk about ways to expand the pool of available workers.
