A disturbance at Golden Living Center/Dorchester in Sturgeon Bay Saturday morning left two nurses injured and a 56-year old Illinois man in police custody. Around 10AM, officers were dispatched to the nursing facility to investigate a disturbance. En route, they learned that the nursing staff-members had been injured by a man who was still on site. City police quickly arrested the suspect and were told he had attempted to remove his mother from the facility and, in the process, injured the two nurses. They were transported to Ministry Door County Medical Center for treatment. The Oswego, Illinois man was cited for felony counts of substantial battery and strangulation and misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct, booked, and jailed.
