Ice Rescue Friday a Reminder of Deteriorating Conditions

A call for an ice rescue was made Friday afternoon in the area just off the northwest side of Sherwood Point in the Town of Nasewaupee. An ice fisherman with his pull-behind sled of fishing equipment was out on the ice, but he was not aware that he was actually in any trouble. Southern Door Fire Chief Rich Olson explains…

In the end, the ice fisherman was safely transported to shore and there were no injuries.
