Milly Gonzales is also the Northeast Wiscosnin Regional Director for the Wisconsin Women’s March and was chosen this year as one of 12 Wisconsin women to participate in End Abuse Wisconsin’s “We Lead Academy.” Past recipients of the Anne Kok Social Justice Award include Richard Egan, Karrie Anthony, Jane Stevenson, Shirley Senarighi, and Sandy Brown. Anne Kok was Executive Director of Help of Door County from 1985 to 1989 and was a member of its board of directors until her death in a traffic accident in 2008.
