The Executive Director of Help of Door County has tendered her resignation. Paul Loppnow, co-chair of the organization’s board of directors, indicated that the board had reluctantly accepted the resignation of Ursela Bunnell-Timreck, Monday. Timreck began her tenure at the organization based in Sturgeon Bay in June of 2011. At the time it was noted that she had a wealth of experience in the domestic abuse field having worked for Golden House, the domestic abuse program in Green Bay. She was director of client services there for nine years. In the news release provided by HELP, Bunnell-Timreck was praised for her expertise in all matters related to domestic abuse issues, her fierce passion for HELP’s clients, and her unwavering professionalism, all of which would be sorely missed. Anni Lampert has been named Interim Director.
