Sturgeon Bay City Council-Member Laurel Hauser has scheduled two opportunities to meet with constituents at city hall next week. Hauser, who represents the 7th aldermanic district, will set up shop in the first floor community room on Wednesday, January 31st, from 5 to 6:30PM, and between 1 and 2:30PM on Thursday, February 1st. She says she’d like to converse with anyone who has questions and concerns or thoughts to share and is particularly interested in talking with people who may feel differently than she does about recent events.
A resident of Sturgeon Bay for more than 20 years, she was elected to the city council last April. Earlier, Hauser served on the city plan commission. She currently sits on the waterfront redevelopment authority, the board of public works, the parks and recreation committee, and the library committee. Hauser encourages folks to stop by, have some coffee and cookies and spend a few minutes talking on Wednesday or Thursday of next week.
