Doctor Jeffrey Whiteside
The Door County Sheriff’s Department is following up on a missing person’s report involving a 63-year old Grand Chute, Wisconsin man. Doctor Jeffrey Whiteside was last seen in the Ephraim area of northern Door County on Monday. Doctor Whiteside is five foot nine inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a maroon colored polo shirt and gray shorts. He wears eye glasses. Doctor Whiteside is a physician in the Fox Valley and has a boat slip and cabin in Ephraim. He was with his family on Monday at the boat slip when he walked away. It is believed that he is on foot and still in northern Door County. The family is very concerned about his well-being. The Door County Sheriff’s Department received a missing person’s report on Wednesday and mobilized a search in the Ephraim area that continues. Joining Sheriff’s Department personnel in the search are volunteers from the Ephraim Fire Department and others.
