Goggins Named United Way’s Magnificent Volunteer

The United Way of Door County handed out its “Magnificent Volunteer Award” during its recent annual meeting in Baileys Harbor. The award went to Bob Goggins who has been a part of the organization for 18 years. Goggins was lauded for stepping in to help with just about anything when asked, his donations of time to several community projects and organizations, his commitment to making things happen whatever task he’s involved in, and his personal donations to help keep the United Way office running smoothly. The award is named after the late Bob Stiefvater whose response when asked how things were going was “magnificent.” WDOR is proud to be listed as one of the past recipients of the United Way’s Magnificent Volunteer Award.
