Future of Door 2 Door Rides May be in Jeopardy

The future of transportation services in Door County was the subject of a discussion during Tuesday’s meeting of the Door County Board. Supervisors heard a presentation on the escalating costs related to the operation of the Door to Door transportation program in the county. Current projections indicate that the service could need as much as $220,000 of county budgetary support in order to operate in five years.
