Fundraising Continues for Eagle Tower Rebuild

As part of the effort to raise $750,000 to be invested in the reconstruction of the Eagle Tower at Peninsula State Park, a goal of $50,000 was set for Saturday. The Eagle Tower Fund committee hopes to use the funding to contract with a select architect to design a new site plan for the popular observation deck that was taken down in September. The 80-foot tower was closed by the DNR last year due to concerns about its structural integrity.
