State Senator Caleb Frostman has taken a cabinet level position in the administration of Governor-elect Tony Evers. Frostman, the former Executive Director of the Door County Economic Development Corporation, will serve as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. A native of the Green Bay area, he has served on the Bay Area Workforce Development Board, the Door County Visitor Bureau, and, the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center. Frostman also serves on the board of the Sunshine House which serves adults with disabilities, and, the Advisory Council of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Door County. He has an undergraduate degree from the UW Madison’s School of Business. The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development’s primary responsibilities include job services, training, and, employment assistance to people looking for work, while working with employers to find workers to fill current openings. Frostman says he shares the vision of a prosperous Wisconsin for all and looks forward to supporting the collective effort to ensure Wisconsin’s economy works for both employees and employers.
