On Wednesday afternoon four people were rescued from the water at Fish Creek. Door County Emergency Services, along with Gibraltar Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the Alibi Dock about 3:30PM after a 39 foot sailboat ran aground with the 4 people aboard. One subject was reported to have cut off a finger and needed medical attention. The Coast Guard also responded to the incident. Alibi Dock staff had also been in contact with the sailboat which had broken free. The boat was brought in to the pier where emergency personnel attended to the patient who was described as conscious and alert, with an injury to a finger. The patient was transported by ambulance to the Door County Medical Center. DNR Warden Mike Neal also responded to the scene. No names were released.
