Emergency Vehicle Fun Day is Sunday

Young people and their families will have a chance to get close to a variety of emergency vehicles Sunday, May 17th at the Cherryland Airport near Sturgeon Bay. The sixth annual Emergency Vehicle Fun Day, sponsored by the Door County Sheriff’s Department, is geared toward grade school age children, according to Juvenile Investigator Chris Neuville…


Neuville, who has been the driving force behind the event since its inception, says youngsters ca sit in a police car, check out a fire truck and a US Coast Guard boat, get close to the Eagle Three helicopter and civil patrol aircraft, and it’s all free. He says one thing will be different this year…


Sonny’s Italian Kitchen and Pizzeria and Marchant’s Meats of Sturgeon Bay will have food and beverages for sale during the sixth annual Emergency vehicle Fun Day which runs from 11AM to 3PM Sunday at the Cherryland Airport.
