Egg Harbor Wins Arts in Community Award

Next month, Ryan Heise and the Village of Egg Harbor will be recognized with an “Arts in the Community” award by Arts Wisconsin, Wisconsin’s statewide community cultural development organization. Heise has been Egg Harbor’s Village Administrator since 2015 and has made it a priority to support local efforts involving public art, sustainability programs and community engagement. He is credited with providing guidance to the village’s public arts initiative group as the designated liaison between the village and public arts development. Under his watch the Donalld and Carol Kress Pavilion was completed, public art projects were developed, the village joined the “green tier” program, and, revitalization projects were brought to several locations that connect Egg Harbor to the waters of Green Bay. The 10th Annual Arts in the Community Awards will be handed out during the League of Municipalities 120th annual conference Thursday, October 25th in Wisconsin Dells.
