The $1.2 million makeover of Egg Harbor Road in Sturgeon Bay is doing more than just provide a better surface for drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists, it appears to be spurring interest in retail activity on the busy retail thoroughfare. WDOR News has learned that a number of inquiries have been made in recent weeks about the possible establishment retail outlets in the area. While information gathering about a specific retail area does not always, by itself, translate into increased retail activity, it is a sign that interest is strong and future development is a real possibility.
