Duluth Avenue Project Begins Monday

A cooperative effort involving Door County, the City of Sturgeon Bay and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is about to launch the County C (Duluth Avenue) reconstruction project. The $3.5 million project, from Highway 42/57 north to west Elm Street in Sturgeon Bay, is expected to get underway on Monday. The prime contractor is Degroot, Incorporated of Green Bay. Shefchik intends to provide periodic progress updates on the project which is expected to run about 100 days, from start to completion, with completion on or about August 17th.
