Drug Bust Leads to 10 Arrests

The Door/Kewaunee Drug Task Force executed a number of search warrants Monday morning, the culmination of a three-month long undercover investigation into drug trafficking on the Door Peninsula. The sweep, which took place in the Town of Egg Harbor and the City of Sturgeon Bay, led to the arrest of ten individuals, ranging in age from 59 to 20. Some were jailed and others were referred to the district attorney’s office on charges. The drugs involved included heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and prescription narcotics. One of the suspects was picked up on an outstanding warrant from Brown County and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Sheriff Steve Delarwelle commended the work of members of the Door and Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Departments, Sturgeon Bay Police, and the State Patrol who participated in the successful drug interdiction investigation.
