Door County Contingent to Visit Sister City in China

A nine-person contingent from Door County is continuing a program of reciprocal trips to China with another visit to the county’s sister city, Jingdezhen. Led by County Board Chairman David Lienau, the group is expected to learn more about an expanded J1 visa employment/culture exchange program, visit the Jingdezhen international ceramics fair, and take part in the opening and dedication of the Door County public square exhibit in the county’s sister city, designed, in part, by Meissner Landscaping. Also representing Door County will be Corporation Counsel Grant Thomas, Planning Director Mariah Goode, and representatives from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
