Door County Brewing Company in Baileys Harbor has announced that its Pastoral Farmhouse Ale will be brewed with locally sourced barley and yeast. In addition, the firm has re-labeled Pastoral in honor of Door County’s Belgian heritage. Pastoral commemorates the Walloon agricultural heritage and the Belgian group found in southern Door County. To further honor this tradition, a portion of all Pastoral sales will be donated to the Belgian Heritage Center in Namur. The new brew will be available in Wisconsin and Minnesota on February 15th.
