The Door County Board joined department heads and staff in greeting a delegation from the county’s sister city, Jingdezhen, China during a special meeting Tuesday morning at the Government Center in Sturgeon Bay. A resolution welcoming the contingent and extolling the relationship going back 11 years was approved and presented. A gift was also presented to the delegation. The Chinese group will spend two days visiting a variety of locations and businesses in Door County before heading to Chicago and their trip back to China on Thursday. The next regular session for the Door County Board is on July 28th at 9AM.
