The deadline for folks interested in becoming a member of the delegation heading to Madison in April for Door/Kewaunee Legislative Days has been extended. The cutoff was originally Friday the 13th, but has now been moved to Wednesday, March 18th. Bill Chaudoir of the Door County Economic Development Corporation says about 75 people are currently signed up, but the goal is to send a contingent numbering around 100. Chaudoir says the higher number is needed for the group to effectively present its case to legislators of both houses at the state capitol. Delegates can register online at www.dklegislativedays.com. Any questions should be directed to Bill Chaudoir at the Door County Economic Development Corporation.
