The Door County Economic Development Corporation is helping local businesses to pursue and secure assistance to keep them afloat through the COVID-19 crisis. They are asking local businesses to participate in a survey to help assess the economic impact of COVID-19. The completion of these surveys will support forthcoming policy and legislative actions to address the impact. These surveys will be sent out again in early May and early June. Your participation is strongly requested. The D.C.E.D.C. is also ready to assist local businesses with applying for aid through the coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (or the “CARES” act). This act includes three main components for business financial assistance: the paycheck protection program, economic injury disaster loans, and small business debt relief. For any help or information on the “CARES” act, please callTtom Strong at 920-980-9053, or Steve Jenkins at 920-421-3777.
