The Door County Economic Development Corporation has announced that its Executive Director, Jim Schuessler, has resigned and will be moving to Arizona to assume the role of Executive Director for Yuma Multiversity. He will depart Door County at the end of January. Schuessler, the third Executive Director of the public/private organization, began working in July of last year. Patty Vickman, who is Chair-Person of the DCEDC Board of Directors, thanked Schuessler for a little more than a year of service to the organization. Vickman said Human Resources Consulting, LLC will work with a search committee in an effort to find a replacement. Vickman will head up the committee.
