DC Public Health Vaccine Update

We have a recent update from Door County Public Health about their vaccination drive-through clinics. As reported last week, all previously scheduled 1st-dose appointments had been canceled. If you were scheduled for one of those appointments, you have been added to their waitlist based on the date and time of your appointment. They have received confirmation that this week they will be receiving 200 first doses in addition to 120 2nd doses. They have been contacting those on the waitlist by phone in the order which they were originally scheduled, and they will continue until all 200 vaccines are spoken for. One you receive your first dose at the vaccine site, your 2nd-dose appointment will be scheduled for you. By the end of this week, Door County Public Health will have provided 916 doses to Door County residents. They will continue to provide vaccination clinics weekly, but they will schedule appointments only after they receive confirmation of their allocated amounts. Currently, they have approximately 1,200 individuals on the waitlist. Door County Public Health and Door County Medical Center, while being community partners, receive separate allotments each week and schedule separate clinics accordingly. If you have a questions concerning an appointment with Door County Medical Center, you are asked to contact them directly.
