Since the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Door County Public Health has been giving situation updates every Monday through Friday. This week, however, they announced those updates will now be released once a week every Thursday. This Thursday’s report shows there were 17 COVID tests performed this week and zero of them turned up positive. Door County currently has 65% of its residents with at least one vaccine dose, and 61.4% have been fully-vaccinated. Door County public health is still offering free COVID-19 vaccinations at Sturgeon Bay’s ADRC Building Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6:00 pm, at the Sister Bay Fire Station every third Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00 pm, at the Egg Harbor Farmers Market Friday mornings, and at the Jacksonport Farmers Market Tuesday mornings.
