DC Public Health Hosts Flu Shot Clinic

Door County Public Health is hosting another drive-through flu shot clinic on Thursday December 10th. That will run from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM at the Sturgeon Bay Fire Station at 421 Michigan Street. These shots will be free for children aged 6 months to 18 years old, regardless of insurance. They will also be free for adults who don’t have insurance or who’s insurance does not cover flu shots. They will be able to bill the insurance for adults who have traditional Medicare Part “B”, the Humana Advantage Plan, or United Healthcare, and you should bring your insurance card with you. For everyone else, you can get your flu shot for $39 in the form of a check or exact cash only. These flu shots will be deferred for persons with suspected or confirmed COVID-19, regardless of symptoms, until criteria have been met for them to discontinue isolation. Shots for people with any mild illness should be postponed to avoid exposing healthcare personnel and other patients to the virus that causes COVID-19. Again, this drive-through flu shot clinic will be Thursday December 10th from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM at the Sturgeon Bay Fire Station.
