Continuation of an eight mile road improvement project on Highway 57 in Door County is expected to begin on Wednesday, May 2nd. The project includes road resurfacing on 57 between Baileys Harbor and Sister Bay. Work this spring includes paving operations, shouldering, and pavement marking from the south County Q intersection to Canterbury Lane in Sister Bay. Highway 57 will remain open during all 2018 work. Motorists will encounter flagging operations that may cause minor delays. The $4.3 million project began in September of 2017 and is expected to be completed at the end of June.
