Council May Reconsider Vacating Portions of 1st & Jefferson

A request that the Sturgeon Bay City Council consider rescinding action on the vacation of parts of 1st Avenue and Jefferson Street was put on hold for the time being. Fincantieri/Bay Shipbuilding requested the street closures so that it could acquire the former Palmer Johnson Yachts buildings and expand its operation. The council approved the request at its last meeting, with conditions.
