Four candidates for Sturgeon Bay City Administrator will be interviewed Monday and Tuesday, according to Mayor Thad Birmingham. A total of 19 applications were received for the job currently held by Steve McNeil who will be retiring as of August 1st, McNeil has been City Administrator since September of 2008. The four candidates are Brian Chapman, Ryan Heise, Mark Masciola, and, Josh Van Lieshout. Chapman received his MPA from Northern Michigan University in 2011 and is currently the Organizational Development Specialist in Oshkosh. Heise is employed as Director of Operations in Lakewood Ranch, Florida and received his MPA from the University of South Dakota in 2014. Masciola obtained his MA from Northern Illinois University in 1988 and most recently served as Village Administrator/Treasurer in South Barrington, Illinois. Van Lieshout is currently employed as Village Administrator in Egg Harbor and is pursuing his certificate in public management from the University of Wisconsin/Madison.
