Cadence Looking to Expand in Sturgeon Bay Industrial Park

It wasn’t too long ago that the City of Sturgeon Bay purchased land from Roger Anderson to expand its industrial park. Now the city’s finance committee is recommending that a chunk of the land be sold to Cadence, Incorporated so the local firm can build a new plant. Marty Olejniczak, the city’s Community Development Director, says the decision by the company based in Virginia to build a new facility is good news for Sturgeon Bay…

Cadence currently owns the former Overland Bolling plant off Columbia Avenue on Sturgeon Bay’s west side. Olejniczak says the city’s responsibilities for the proposed parcel are spelled in guidelines related to the industrial park…

If approved, the new Cadence plant would be built off Neenah Avenue, south of the Therma-Tron-X facility in 2016. Cadence, Incorporated supplies advanced products, technologies and services to medical, life science, automotive and industrial companies worldwide.
