Thousands of dollars in merchandise was reportedly stolen from a shop on Jefferson Street in Sturgeon Bay during the early morning hours Sunday. The Sturgeon Bay Police Department declined to provide details, but said evidence is still being gathered in connection with the burglary. Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to contact the Sturgeon Bay Police Department at 746-2450. Residents are also reminded that whenever they see something suspicious, they should pass the information on by contacting local law enforcement.
