Bulls Corralled in Kewaunee County

The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department responded to the report of 3 to 4 loose bulls on Highway 29 between Pilsen and County Highway AB in the Town of Montpelier Monday night. Deputies were able to get the animals off of the roadway, but were unable to corral the animals, which were described as dangerous and aggressive. It was determined that two bulls and one cow had escaped from their pens Monday night. One of the bulls was captured Tuesday morning, the remaining bull and cow were returned to their pens by 1:30 Tuesday afternoon.
