The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that Sturgeon Bay’s three bridges will be closed on separate days next week for cleaning. The DOT says the closures, from 7AM to 3PM, are for washing out machinery spaces, bridge grates and decks. The plan calls for full closure of the Michigan Street Bridge on Monday, the Maple/Oregon Street Bridge on Tuesday, and the Bay View Bridge on Wednesday. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes during the bridge cleaning projects.
