Two months into the new year, the Boys and Girls Club of Door County passed a significant milepost when the organization based in Sturgeon Bay paid off the mortgage for its downtown facility. In 2013, the club took out a $627,000 mortgage on the building at 55 South 3rd Avenue and occupied two floors. Two years later, the Boys and Girls Club is utilizing all three floors and the site has become the David G. Hatch Center.
