WDOR News has learned that Bob Bordeau, Sturgeon Bay Municipal Services Director, has resigned his position.
Bordeau, who is 54, has been a city staffer since 1996. He has been Municipal Services Director since 2009. During his tenure, Bordeau has been credited with directing improvements in several areas over the years, including the park system. He was also effective at receiving grant funding for various projects. The Sturgeon Bay Personnel Committee is expected to meet Friday morning to consider filling the now vacant Municipal Service Director position and compensation for an interim director. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9AM in the second floor conference room at city hall.
