Bail Set for Three Men Involved in Drug Bust

Three northern Door County men who were arrested in connection with a drug bust Monday appeared at bail hearings in Door County Circuit Court Wednesday. All of the parties listed their address as 5707 West Carlsville Road. Bail of $5,000 cash was set for 22-year old Ofelio Garcia Jaurighi, $1,500 cash for 32-year old Luis Garcia Jaurighi, and $750 cash for 29-year old Jose Apolinar Jauregui-Sanchez. The men were told to avoid contact with one another, were banned from possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing or consuming controlled substances without a valid prescription and only then in the amount and frequency prescribed, and, were told not to travel beyond Brown, Door and Kewaunee Counties.
Door County Sheriff Steve Delarwelle says a multi-jurisdictional task force executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Egg Harbor, near Carlsville, Monday evening. They confiscated quantities of cocaine and marijuana and close to $5,000 cash. The drug bust was the culmination of a nearly three-month investigation and included members of the Door and Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Departments, agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency Green Bay field office, and, a canine unit from the state patrol. The three Door County men face charges related to the possession and sale of cocaine and marijuana and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
