Divers in the Kewaunee Harbor recovered the body of 43 year old Robert Umentum III just after 10:30 Monday morning after a search that lasted just over 7 hours. It is believed that Umentum was fishing and fell into the water in the early morning hours. A yell for help was first reported to Kewaunee County Dispatch at 3:08AM. The immediate area was searched and fishing tackle and personal items were found and seen in the water. The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department, Kewaunee Police, US Coast Guard, DNR, & Door County Dive Team all assisted in the search, Kewaunee Public Works, Rescue & Fire personnel were also involved.
