ATC Plans Transmission Line Upgrade for Brown, Door, & Kewaunee Counties

If permission is granted by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, the American Transmission Company is proposing to rebuild a 65-year old transmission line that covers 55 miles in Brown, Kewaunee and Door counties and serves seven distribution substations in the area. The American Transmission Company filed its appreciation with the PSC Friday morning. If approved, construction of the project would begin in the fall of 2017 and be completed by January of 2021 at an estimated cost of $61 million.
