**UPDATE** Harris was apprehended Thursday in Green Bay & is back in custody.
For the second time during the month of November, a Door County Jail inmate, operating under work release privileges, has has failed to return to the county lockup. The Door County Sheriff’s Office says there’s no reason to believe that the public is in any danger. At about 9AM Wednesday, Dennis Harris, Junior left the jail on huber release for a job interview. Instead of going to the interview, Harris was picked up and given a ride to the VA clinic in Green Bay. He is considered a huber walkaway(escaped) inmate. Harris is 29 years old, a white male, 5’11”, 217 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has numerous tattoos including one on his adam’s apple and the word “frost” on the left side of his neck. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and, black canvas shoes. Harris was serving a jail sentence for possession of methamphetamine.
