A 61 year old Algoma man has been arrested on charges of possession of child pornography. The man’s apartment was searched Wednesday in reference to a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce. David Lehnert, who lives in the Seagull Apartments on 6th Street in Algoma, is incarcerated at the Kewaunee County Jail pending further court orders. The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force works with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, & electronic service providers to counter the threat of offenders using the internet or other online technology to sexually exploit children.
