The Algoma Police Department has apprehended a 19 year old man in connection with multiple burglaries in the city. Nineteen year old Charles W.H. Weatherwalk has been arrested and charged with two counts of burglary. Weatherwalk is currently being held on $1500 cash bond and is due for an initial appearance in Kewaunee County Circuit Court on March 12th. An additional suspect has not been formally charged but is currently being held on other violations at the Kewaunee County Jail.
The investigation continues into the series of burglaries which occurred in the 200 block of North 4th Street, the 300 block of Lakeview Drive, and two burglaries on Margaret Lynn Avenue.
