The North 4th Avenue road project in Sturgeon Bay is all but completed and the finishing touches are expected to be attended to next week. City Engineer Chad Shechik says crews from the department of public works are expected to begin all of the topsoil and grass seed restoration throughout the project areas on Monday. After that, all that remains is the installation of street trees in the tree lawn areas. Shefchik says that won’t happen until late summer or early fall. The project was to have begun on March 28th, but weather-related issues caused several delays in the street makeover.
