Two Door County projects will receive significant funding as a result of the $1.7 trillion dollar federal spending bill.
The Door County Granary Restoration Project will receive $3.3 million dollars in assistance. The funding will help the group finish phase one of the project, which is expected to be complete by this coming summer.
Another beneficiary of the bill is the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Department. A grant for $900,000 will help the department purchase a new pumper truck.
US Senator Tammy Baldwin pushed for inclusion of both of these items.
