The Door County Visitor Bureau will host its second annual travel and tourism summit on Wednesday, April 6th at the Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay. The tourism agency has put together a day’s worth of educational sessions focusing on tourism-related topics such as marketing trends, sustainable tourism practices, branding, social media, market research, public relations tactics, and, more. Break-out sessions in the morning and afternoon will bring attendees up-to-speed on the latest tools and strategies needed to remain competitive in a very active digital world. The summit will run from 9:30AM to 4PM. A special program featuring the world-premier of an upcoming “Discover Wisconsin” episode named, “Made in Door County,” will be screened over lunch. The registration fee is $50 per person, including lunch. Registration is open to anyone, but closes on April 1st.
