Michigan Street Bridge Closed Thursday
Door County Highway Commissioner Thad Ash has informed us that Sturgeon Bay’s Michigan Street Bridge will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic Thursday, May 18th, from 8:00AM to 3:00PM. Sunday was the 90th anniversary for Sturgeon Bay’s Michigan Street steel bridge, and the Sturgeon Bay Historical Society held a new special event to commemorate this special day for the city’s iconic structure.
