The Sturgeon Bay soccer team and the Southern Door, Sevastopol and Luxemburg-Casco volleyball teams were winners on Thursday and advanced to regional finals on Saturday.
Soccer
Sturgeon Bay beat Saint Lawrence Seminary 5-0 on Thursday. The Clippers led 2-0 at half and pulled away in the second half for the win. Isaac Schultz scored the first goal of the match and Ben Hooker finished with 4 goals in the win. The Clippers will host Wrightstown in a WIAA Division 4 regional final on Saturday. (7:00) The Tigers (13-4-3) finished behind North Eastern Conference champion Fox Valley Lutheran, and are coming off of a 2-0 win over Algoma.
