Kewaunee built a 35-7 lead in the third quarter and then held off a late Sturgeon Bay rally to beat the Clippers, 35-28, on Friday Night at Memorial Field. Storm quarterback Cody Bultman threw for 262 yards and a pair of scores and added two third quarter rushing touchdowns. Michael Halada had 98 yards receiving and Wesley Gallenberger added 97 yards and both caught first half touchdowns for Kewaunee (2-1, 2-3). Clippers quarterback Ethan Knipfer threw for 286 yards and a pair of scores and added a rushing touchdown for Sturgeon Bay (0-3, 1-4). Connor Gajda had 11 catches for 249 yards and two more touchdowns pushing his season total to nine. Sturgeon Bay had closed to within 35-28 with 1:04 to play and Anthony Moore recovered the ensuing onside kick but Halada clinched the win for Kewaunee with a late interception.
