Kewaunee scored 18 unanswered second half points as they beat Algoma for a seventh straight time, winning Friday night 30-12. With the game tied at 12, Kewaunee (1-0 Packerland / 1-1 overall) blocked a punt for a safety and Alex Robinson added an 11-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The Storm’s scoring was capped by an 83-yard scoring run by Travis Squires in the fourth quarter. Squires had a 2-yard TD run in the first quarter and Noah Kleiman tossed a 30-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Basten in the second quarter. Quarterback Alex Dellis threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Booker Prokash and Dellis also had a 2-yard TD run for Algoma (0-1 Packerland / 1-1 overall). That scoring run by Dellis tied the game at 12 with ten seconds remaining in the first half. Kewaunee is now 74-39-7 all-time against Algoma.
