Southern Door opened MONLPC-Large Conference play with a 28-6 win at Oconto on Friday Night. The Eagles (1-0, 2-1) scored a touchdown in every quarter as they gradually pulled away for the victory. Southern Door quarterback Kyle Daoust threw a pair of touchdown passes, six yards to Tyler Kroll in the first quarter and 7 yards to Max Pierre in the fourth quarter, while Derik LeCaptain added a pair of 3 yard td runs and finished the night with 19 carries for 157 yards. Oconto (0-1, 1-2) scored on the final play of the game when Zach Sherman hit Bennett Frazer with an 8 yard td pass.
